Timber flush casement windows initially look as stunning as any other window type, but they gradually get worn down. So, we had ambitions to develop a modern-day flush casement that didn’t deteriorate over time and came up with the elegant UPVC flush casement windows you see integrated here. A big selling-point for the householder was the fact that UPVC is a maintenance-free material and they therefore wouldn’t need to preserve their new windows. Finished in a traditional white colour, the flush casements come with period styled hardware fitted to them.
As an added touch, the householder chose to include Georgian bar detailing on the full set of windows and we love the character it has given to the property. Within the design is a multi-point locking mechanism that when fastened keeps each individual window tightly fixed to the window frame, diminishing the chances of burglary. Opting for that white finish proved a shrewd move as the white colour contrasts well against the bold black colour applied to the front entrance and garage door. We wanted these flush casements to appeal to new-build homeowners as much as occupants living in period residences and we can confidently say that we have accomplished that desire.
