3. Choose a suitable meal

The say that the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, so win your partner’s affections by preparing a 2 or 3-course meal that will tantalise their taste buds.

Hearty mains such as a meaty beef stew or luscious lasagne usually hit the spot at this time of year, and a chocolate dessert to finish is an absolute must.
