I had quite a long wait for the engineer to get an appointment then a week before he was due to arrive Orion cancelled it and gave me a later appointment approx 3 weeks later. I was also told it was a two man job but in the end only one came. The engineer was Mark Brown who has actually done some work for me before ( through Orion) he’s extremely good at his job and always very professional. After finishing replacing the 2 panes of glass which he also cleaned and polished then cleared the rubbish and tidied up and left it how he found it. I hope I don’t need any further work doing but if I do I will be requesting Mark for the job. Thank you and well done Mark.

Mark Brown from Orion visited yesterday. He took us through what had been identified as a problem by another tradesperson (not from Orion) but which was in reality not a problem; he had not been given the part which was required to solve another problem but made sure it would be posted to us; he 'clipped' on a part which had become seperated; he fixed two doors which we had been unable to open easily and finally he looked at our guttering and gave us suggestions about how to deal with build up. Throughout, Mark was courteous, professional, helpful and friendly. To be recommended. Thank you Orion, Thank you Mark.

We were given useful advice and a full breakdown of costs together with the pros and cons when receiving our quote. There was no attempt to pressure sell. When we accepted the quote we were kept fully informed of the schedule and timeframe. The work was all done to schedule by very friendly staff who took care of our property and took pride in their work. We are delighted with the result and very pleased the job was done so professionally.

By speaking to two neighbours who had used Orion and spoke highly of them, I felt confident in contacting the company for a quotation. The surveyor who called filled me with more confidence I was on the right track. The technician who measured up and the installers continued in the same highly professional way. Undersold and over delivered.

I found the selling experience very easy, no hint of ‘deals’ just helpful advice and a very useful catalogue. Valued not having to pay a deposit, a plus. Very accommodating regarding the organization of the Installation. Unfortunately the fitters were late, did not arrive until 10.15, which was an issue as I had a medical appointment for the afternoon. The fitters did tidy up and made sure I knew how the lock worked. Very pleased with the quality and service provided by Orion Windows.   Our bifold doors were fitted on schedule in accordance with timeline provided.  Staff were always available to answer questions and we felt confident dealing with this company. 

Orion fitted the windows well. The fitters were considerate & well mannered. Two of glass panels need to be replaced as they have marks on them but Orion agreed to replace them without any hassle. As a general point, the fitters need to be more careful as to where they allow silicon to go as it can make the subsequent tidying up more difficult - it was on one of the walls several inches away from the frame.

Excellent service throughout the project. Communication with Orion excellent, especially as full planning permission had to be obtained. Work force friendly, polite and on time. Standard of work, excellent. Two points, no final on-site check on completion of works. Payed by BACS transfer but no receipt, paper or electronic received.

In recent days Orion staff have been to replace a blown panel in a glass door, realign a door that had moved and replace a front door. The office staff were helpful and it was easy to make appointments which were at our convenience. The men who came to the house were efficient, quick, considerate and tidied up after themselves.

We have purchased windows and door from Orion and they are a great firm to deal with. Will definitely use them again.

We were very pleased with the service from design to installation. The fitters were skilled, courteous and responded promptly to ensure everything was complete. The booking date was scheduled about 2 months in advance and was adhered to and all work completed in the predicted timescale.

Very pleased with the end result. The two teams worked well and had the whole house windows and doors replaced in three days. (4 bed detached house) There is very minor touching up to do to the front door and one very small mark on one window frames otherwise a great job. Would recommend Orion on price and delivery of the installation, especially during January 2022 when the weather was reasonably kind to us.

Good job at competitive cost - whilst local competitors  were quoting lead times of up to 6 months and demanding 25%  deposits with order  Orion  quoted at once and fitted in 6 weeks.  Their pay when job finished policy is refreshing, and instils confidence  in their work and solvency  Recommend 

Just had French doors fitted by Orion windows and I must say very pleased with the result. A really good team of fitters who did a great job and cleaned up after them. Would recommend.

We had a front door fitted today and it is of excellent quality. From the salesman through to the fitters today we have been completely satisfied. No chasing up to do, all like clockwork and not too long to wait from order to fitting today. Can’t wait now for our solid roof in January to update the conservatory you fitted 14 years ago! We had a new glass roof fitted to replace a polycarbonate one. It was completed in 2 days. The 3 installers were polite, worked quickly and left everything clean and tidy. our lounge is now so much lighter.

A high quality product installed with excellent workmanship, blended beautifully with old brick externally and period interior far exceeding our expectations. Replaced a wide wood windows/door entrance to a large hallway and immediately transformed it into a much warmer room. And it still looks like wood. Another company quoted 30 per cent more for the same job and the third one came and measured up but never quoted.

Excellent service. Really hardworking team who made a great job of replacing our original sash windows. Were recommended to us and we will be recommending ourselves! 

Overall a first class experience 

Ordered a conservatory. From beginning to end all staff were professional, on time and the project went very well. From salesman , builders, surveyors ,fitting teams,  electrician, plasterer and joiner all did an excellent job and were friendly and courteous. A special thank you should be given to The lady at  the York office who kept us informed of the progress of the project via both letter and telephone . She is a credit to your company with an excellent telephone  manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending Orion to fit a conservatory.

We have recently had a new glass roof replaced on our conservatory, from quote to completion everything went without a problem, the fitters did everything from covering the wooden floor with plastic sheeting to tidying up and cleaning at the end, they just got on with the job and kept themselves to themselves unless we needed questions answered. Very professional and an excellent job done.

has 2 reature doors fitted, 1 bifold and 1 patio door. Both look great, fitting was quick and efficient, just a minor hiccup with the final seals but Orion to return and rectify. Good.

Had bi-folds and patio doors fitted, as we had previously had a conservatory from Orion many years ago. They didnt take long to install, and look great. Minor hiccup with the finishing sealing in, but otherwise good.

New job back door looks great had a feel problems with scratched glass and door not shutting but can't complain as they have sent other fitter to change glass and rectify the shutting so all good now so happy to recommend as I know Orion will all ways come back to help and fix.

Quote, measurement, installation very professional, smooth and the guys just got on with their job and cleaned up afterwards.  Extremely pleased with finished product.  Then....I had a problem with working the door lock.....this dampened the whole experience....the office staff couldn't advise/didn't log my call/didn't follow through.  After 3 days, a friend helped me out.  

The guys arrived bang on time and got straight down to work.  Installed the new doors, made good and did a thorough clean up afterwards.  Very courteous and efficient.  I'll certainly go back to Orion when I decide to do the rest of the house.

It was very easy to arrange, the surveyor came and took details. Orion were friendly and informative, the date was selected for the fitting and it happened on time. When a different coloured door was provided, I was given a compensatory discount. The door I have looks lovely and very secure. The door fitter was pleasant and fast working with a great taste in music!

I'm very pleased with my attractive new door. It smells a bit funny though! All of the staff I dealt with throughout the process were approachable and professional. This is the second time I've used Orion Windows and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Prompt quote and visit made. Assessor was very efficient and on time. Fitters worked hard to get the job done in one day. Apparently it was not an easy job. Dust sheets were put down. One window pane cracked in transit but this was replaced. On the negative side was the smell of some super glue used on the inside sill which took a couple of weeks to completely dissipate. I am very pleased with the new windows which have made a huge improvement to the bedrooms, and give much better insulation and ventilation. In the picture it is just the windows not the surrounds fitted.

Orion replaced our old timber back door with a half glazed uPVC door. The surveyor came as requested and then inside a month the job was installed in about 2 hours by a really friendly and efficient fitter. The whole experience was excellent, thank you.

We recently had a patio door, Sliding Door and 5 Windows fitted. The service from Orion from our first contact with the svlesteam through to the fitting was excellent. We were given good advice from the outset and were actually talked out of a more expensive option. The salesman clearly new his job and the benefit of his experience gave us confidence. The visit from the surveyor was equally professional and helpful. The fitting was carried out on exactly the date promised and the two fitters were equally experienced, helpful, polite and professional. We took the time to shop around before settling on the quote from Orion but we have been very happy with the whole process. Very pleased with final result. A few bumps in the road to get there and snagging took a while to get completed which was frustrating. COVID, and the poor winter weather made the timeline to get started and completed longer than we would have liked but to be fair these were outside of Orion’s control. It was helpful having Orion take responsibility for the overall project including the planning application, although they were let down at times by the lack of communication by their subcontractors which meant we had to do some chasing. Having many years experience in the construction industry did help in agreeing onsite queries and understanding the processes being carried out, but it would not have been essential.

Very pleased with the installation of our new door the quality, fitting, lock and service has been first class.

We had a set of French Patio doors fitted in late January and are very pleased with the product, workmanship and fitting. The service provided during these difficult times from initial contact with the company to completion was excellent. We would highly recommend on price and quality and will definitely use again.

Of the three quotes I obtained, Orion were the most professional in their handling of my enquiry and the follow up and the price was very similar to others. I am very pleased with the product, all windows and sliding balcony door. The installation guys knew what they were doing, paid a lot of attention to detail, especially around the large sliding door, cleared up and made hardly any dints anywhere. Even neighbours commented on how friendly and helpful they were! A couple of issues were dealt with courteously and efficiently by these guys and the office. Altogether, highly satisfied and would definitely recommend Orion Windows Ltd.

Orion were the most competitive on price and delivery. Their product range is excellent and delivery was as specified. I would recommend them and their staff, and would have no hesitation in using them again in the future.

Very friendly and respectful staff throughout and very happy with the quality of the products. The guy who did the survey was knowledgable and offered advice as appropriate. Only thing I would have added was a courtesy call a day or two in advance to answer final questions e.g. didn’t know what time to expect the fitters on the first day, also the fitters didn’t give names and I would have appreciated an introduction.

Orion offered a prompt service: we were impressed by the gentleman who came out to quote and we were offered a date for the work to start in less than three weeks. The advertising booklet was much better than the other firms we contacted; it was very clear about the products and gave excellent detail. The quality of the work was excellent, and it was good value for money. The workmen were friendly and helpful. They were also tidy and cleaned up after themselves very well. 

Having been let down by other companies by them not contacting us or giving us quotes, we tried Orion. Orion made it a hassle free experience, with a quick turnaround. Installation workmen were excellent.

We had an old conservatory that the team at Orion removed and replaced with a stunning conservatory with a solid roof and bi fold doors. Every one of the people who worked on the job, whether Orion team or contractors, were a credit to Orion. The builder went out of his way to match the bricks and, as such, the new conservatory looks like it's part of the house in a way that the old one never did. Orion's work and the finished job massively exceeded our expectations and we're highly delighted with it - it was worth every penny. Thank you.
